David heads the firm's CleanTech franchise and has 20 years experience specializing in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, initial public offerings, follow-on and convertible offerings, and private placements. David has led more than 75 M&A and capital raising transactions in his career, representing approximately $50 billion in deal value, including more than 35 transactions in the CleanTech sector. From 2007 to 2009, David served as Head of the CleanTech group at Broadpoint Capital. From 1996 to 2007, David served as Director of the Industrial group for Citigroup and Head of the Alternative Energy group, which he founded in 1999. From 1991 to 1996, David worked at Credit Suisse First Boston and SG Warburg. David graduated cum laude and received an AB in Government from Harvard University.
